PERKLINE ANNOUNCES NEW PROGRAM NAME

Create your own member or employee discount program with Abenity

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 2009) – On November 30th, 2009 Nashville-based Perkline, Inc. re-launched its web-based application as “Abenity” to better represent their product within the rewards and recognition marketplace. Since 2006, Abenity has registered over 130,000 members and negotiated over 60,000 local and national discounts in more than 2,300 U.S. cities.

In less than four years Abenity has grown from a corporate software solution for Fortune 100 employee discount programs into an exclusive web-based service that allows organizations of any size to create their own member or employee discount program. “The last year and a half has been extremely difficult for many employers and national membership associations and the need for value-added programs that boost spendable income and overall member satisfaction has dramatically increased” said Abenity President and CEO Brian Roland. “It was this realization that encouraged us to create a business model for our product that was affordable for organizations of all sizes and allowed them to customize a complete discount program for their own members and employees as a benefit. Our new name, Abenity, is a result of this shift in philosophy as we’ve become much more than simply a “Perkline” for employee discounts. In fact, we’ve discovered that the true value of our product is found when our client’s create their own discount program and leverage our national platform and elite collection of local and national discounts as an extraordinary amenity for their members as a benefit.”

Abenity is not only unique in their business model but also in the features that they have available. Abenity is the first to launch a network of mobile coupons that can be redeemed with any web-enabled phone at over 20,000 participating locations. The Abenity product also includes a Welcome Video tutorial to help members learn how to set-up vendor alerts and use the Recommendations tool to find ideas for their next Day Trip, which filters over 1,500 national attractions and activities within a 3-hour drive. Abenity members also have access to a list of “Ways to Save $20” to help them find more than $2,000 in annual savings.

In addition to the many features that are in place to enhance each member’s experience, the Abenity product is equipped with numerous features to ensure that the program is extremely easy for clients to administer for their members. These features include program set-up within 48 hours of approval, member support services, complete marketing materials, access to a 32-page offer catalog with phone directory, branded membership cards, API integration for single sign-on experiences, integration with Facebook, LinkedIN, and Twitter for new discount offer announcements, and an admin panel where each client can integrate, edit, and update their own discount offers and access performance analytics.

Abenity negotiates volume-based discounts with local and national vendors, which enables them to offer their discount program to organizations of all sizes.  Each Abenity member has access to their elite collection of local and national discounts from thousands of hotels, restaurants, movie theaters, automotive repair centers, florists, car dealers, theme parks, national attractions, unique experiences, concerts and events, including offers from Costco, Sprint/Nextel, Firestone, T-Mobile, Best Buy, Six Flags, and Walt Disney World.

“Most organizations would love to have their own discount program, especially in this economy, but they don’t have the resources to individually negotiate, host, and maintain multiple discount offers for their members or employees.” Roland said.  “Abenity offers an affordable and turnkey service that equips each organization with their own branded discount program and includes our collection of premium offers for their members or employees as a benefit.”

Abenity currently serves over 75 national organizations, including the Walt Disney Company, the U.S. Army, Oracle, and most recently, Virgin.
